What do you mean by flex and stiffness?
The 2013 DeMarini CF5: DXCFL Youth bat will be a two-piece fully composite bat. The two-pieces during the swing will actually flex to provide you with better whipping action and helping you achieve better bat speed. Some power hitter's prefer a bat to be stiff. This bat will not be as stiff as some one-piece bat designs, but will provide a more stiff feel to the barrel piece.
My son is 4'11 and weighs 65 lbs. Yes, he is a tall skinny kid! He is a great contact hitter, I'm just looking for something that will give him a a little more pop in his bat. What bat and size would you recommend? I feel he needs something around the 18 oz mark if possible.
