This demo bat is priced according to its condition. New for 2012! The SL12VXL features the USSSA 1.15 stamp and is legal for use in 2012! For the past few years, the H2 was Louisville Slugger's flagship composite/alloy hybrid design. This season, Louisville Slugger ups the ante with a new bat, new materials and performance that will leave you astonished! Building off the success of EXOGRID, Vertex Technology is the next step in optimizing the composite/alloy hybrid design. The Vertex design utilizes Louisville Slugger's LS-2X Composite which uses thinner high-strength and lightweight graphite fibers to create the optimal feeling handle. These thinner fibers allow for more layers, giving the Vertex added stiffness and durability. The handle of the Vertex is actually stiffer than the EXOGRID which allows more barrel flex, resulting in maximum trampoline effect and, ultimately, greater performance! The barrel of the Vertex is constructed using AC21 Scandium Alloy. Combined with composite materials, the AC21 Scandium Alloy ensures thinner walls with outstanding durability and unmatched performance.
