Pros: Great pop!!! Very well balanced. My 12 year old hit home run as soon as he got it. If you have a 2011 voodoo black I highly recommend you step up to the 2012. you will not be disappointed! and the graphics are SICK!!!
Cons: no cons....
Blue Sox Coach
Pros: Wicked graphics make it fun for the kids to swing. Bat has some serious pop to it. Well balanced bat so my whole team swings it pretty easy. No complaints of any sting and they all enjoy the grip on the bat. My team is 10 years old swinging the 30/21. If you are wanting a good alloy bat this would be tied with the Worth Lithium (which is now dented).
Cons: Just got the bat so not enough swings to find 1 yet.
Anonymous
Pros: So far a great bat. Lots of pop. Hasn't been used in a game yet but the ball flys off the bat in practice.
Cons: So pretty you don't want to mark it up.
Driller
Pros: Sweet looking bat, seems to have some great pop and no complaints about stinging hands.
Cons:
LBRichTX
Pros: I bought my 8 year old the 29/20. Bat is HOT out of the wrapper. Great performance. Would HIGHLY recommend this bat.
Cons: the only con to it is the heavy swing weight, but that is a minor con.
No.18
Pros: Very good bat, lots of pop and very long barrel. I was 2 for 2 in my first game with it. and hit the ball really hard.
Cons: scratches easily, but looks good still so no big deal.
me
Pros: I've never hit so far and hard in my life! I'm 12 (Just turned) and my max hit was 290 feet... when i got this bat my max hit went to 306 feet! I love the graphics too! No sting anywhere! BEST BAT EVER! I had doubts because I was thinking about waiting for the cf5... but nothing... NOTHING beats this bat
Cons: zip
bball dad
Pros: nice look and feel - very evenly weighted - worth the money
Cons: must use the bat a couple of weeks to work in the "pop" - used the first tournament out of the bag - little less than what we were expecting - 2 weeks later after plenty of practice and games the pop really appears - my opinion it takes 500 hits or so to get the bat blasting
Cdawg007
Pros: This bat is amazing! Ball jumps off the bat. Awesome graphics. I recommend this bat. DeMarini is the best!
Cons: None
DDwgs
Pros: This bat was SICK right from the start, the first time i used it in bp, probably 6 out of 10 hits were rockets. it also feels like a slingshot when you hit it, which is cool.
Cons: i havent used it much yet so no cons, but it does rattle a little but it isnt a problem so far...
rocket
Pros: Just received the bat yesterday. Awesome right out of packaging. Barrel is huge.
Cons: None
Ken
Pros: The bat has a nice grip, superb graphics, and a great feel with no stinging in your fingers if you hit the ball off the end of the bat. This Voodoo will definately give your son or daughter confidence to swing the bat. If you want great POP and no STING, spend the extra money for a Demarini bat. If the bat fails within a year, Demarini will replace it!
Cons: Price of bat.
Repear
Pros: Well balanced. Easy to swing with good "pop".
Cons: None so far.
Revlimiter
Pros: Nice bat good balance and pop
Cons: Finish scathed easily which does not affect the performance
Matt
Pros: I used a 32/23 and hit a amazing. I am 5'4" 105 lbs and hit 2 home runs out of a 250' field in batting practice. This bat has AMAZING pop great buy.
Cons: Grip isn't amazing, but isn't horrible
Kirk
Pros: Awesome paint job. Virtually no vibration. The grip is fantastic; it feels "sticky" but it doesn't leave your gloves or hands with any residue. It has a larger than normal sweet spot.
Cons: Being a -9, it takes a little getting used to for someone used to swinging a -10. Takes more time and energy for the bat head to come around (but I knew that was going to happen). A little conditioning should be all it takes to overcome this.
Kirk
Pros: This is a follow up to my first review. As I expected, the weight difference was just a matter of conditioning. At BP tonight my 11 year old hit 8 put of ten deep in the outfield (playing a HS field so they might have been yard). Also, of you want your player to get used to heavier weights this is the way to go.
Cons: I don't have any cons now. This is a great bat!! I highly recommend it.
Matt
Pros: I just got this bat a 31/22 and it is the best bat I have ever used. The graphics are superb and love the nice alloy sound after hitting the ball. The sc4 alloy makes this bat strong and durable.
Cons:
gman4commerce
Pros: Solid Bat, Amazing Solid Contact, Minimal Vibration, Great Balance. My son played in a tourney this weekend, while 23Oz is a BIT heavy - he did great, went 3 for 5 and as an 11 year old (almost 12) 5'2, 100 Lbs -- hit hit the ball 290Ft!!! in one of his at bats. The GRIP is AMAZING on this too. Very sticky!
Cons: Pricey.
MikeDaBest1000
Pros: Best bat ive ever swung. Ive swung the DeMarini voodoo 2011, cf3, vexxum and the vendetta and this is the best by far.lots of pop, sick graphics, nice grip.
Cons: there's nothing to hate!
3Up3Down32
Pros: WOW, just got this bat today for my 11U son and it has some serious pop. He swings it like a pro and no issues staying inside the baseball. The bat is very well balanced and seems to help extend his hands to finish long through the ball perfectly. He's stoked, he had been looking for his confidence boost and this is it for sure.
Cons: I didn't have this bat when I was playing :-(
Da Dad
Pros: This bat is flat out sick. My son replaced his vexxum with the voodoo and I noticed the pop differential in our first cage session (lost the hair off my forearm too!) In the first game of use, he tripled oppo over the left fielder and smoked one past the first basemen for a 2b.
Cons: why do they make fancy paint jobs when it's going to get ruined?
pujols5
Pros: great pop, huge sweet spot, and weight is evenly balanced
Cons: none
Andy
Pros: I was a little nervous spending 250$ on a bat with the new rules. i was pleasently surprised with the performance of the bat. It has great pop, more then i expected, has very little had sting on of center hits. All in all great bat. dont think they'll be many better bats out there.
Cons:
lefty
Pros: This bat has GREAT pop and no sting to it.Even when i dont get a solid hit on it, it goes far.this is the best voodoo yet...plus it has sick graphics
Cons: pretty expensive
thenosewithin
Pros: Amazing pop. I've had this bat for 9 or 10 months, and it's just beginning to ware down, but still has max pop. (maybe like 10% pop gone) but thats after 10 months! Doesn't sting your hands and a great sweet spot, you'll know you hit it when you see the results.
Cons: Zip, price of bat is well worth for the quality!! GET IT!
Anonymous
Pros: Nice graphics, fairly good pop.
Cons: I found this bat incredibly top heavy. Even though the bat was a -9 length/weight ratio, I could have sworn it was -3. This caused hits that didn't travel nearly as far as I am used to. Also, I'm not a fan of the handle, which widens as you get towards the end, but that isn't very important.
LongDangBall
Pros: This bat is good. My 12yo is 6'2", 21lbs and is hitting the ball 340ft, with an occasional 350ft bomb.
Cons: It is attracting way to many pro scouts.
Jose P.
Pros: By far the best bat I have ever swung. The ball jumped off of the bat every swing. I love this bat, and you must... MUST... get it. I LOVE THIS BAT! Good job DeMarini! There best bat.. EVER!
Cons: ZIPPO! NONE!!
Matt F
Pros: I'm 13 and used a 32/23 of this bat in the Pony Bronco World Series. In all of post season, including World Series, I hit 7 home runs. I hit 3 in the World Series. I love this bat. I can't get away from Voodoos anymore. All of my home runs were over 300 ft. They had temp. fences at 265 but real field was 330. 1st HR hit the far fence, 2nd 2 hopper, 3rd ground roll double on far field. All in all this bat is amazing and has sooooooooooo much pop.
Cons: I used this bat for 3 months (July to September) and hit probably 1 to 2 thousand balls and dented the bat in five places (rotated bat) and cracked it but maybe because so many hits but getting a replacement for free.
Pirate baseball
Pros: Great bat !!! He was hitting them to the outfield everytime. Great pop !!!! He likes it way better
Cons: He says it still jars his hands
tony

Cons: the grip isnt as good as the cf5's grip
dan
Pros: awsome bat has alot of pop and is the best big barrel bat i have had this year and i have had the worth bat the b2 and this bat is the best by far
Cons: it takes alot of cuts to break in and the grip is bad i would say to buy a nice grip
kev22
Pros: very well balanced. feels like you're swinging a -12. great grip and awesome graphics. extra long barrel so there is more space to hit.
Cons: the pice... but you get what you pay for.
clean up
Pros: this is a fantastic bat great pop our middle school coach bought one a few weeks ago i just came out of little league and i already hit one out of the field im only 5'5 100 pound this bat is awesome
Cons: 0
HOTLanta
Pros: Very, very pleased after 3 tournaments going 2 for 3, 4 for 6, and 5 for 9 with 4 doubles and one triple. Great sound, ball jumps off bat fooling defenders.
Cons: Pricey but that's TB.
metsfan
Pros: We are 11 games into our 2012 11U season and the bat is holding up well. Nice pop out of the wrapper and still going strong. No dents, so it seems more durable than the Eastons of the past. Noticed the barrel is longer than the Easton S3 but not as long as the S1. Nice bat if your kid can handle a -9.
Cons: A piece of the endcap chipped off but does not affect the performance of the bat.
Anonymous
Pros: great sweat spot
Cons: its alominim
7/8 Coach
Pros: Bat is worth the money. No vibration even when you miss hit ball.
Cons: may not be ideal for kids who prefer balanced bat because this bat is end loaded.

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
