Description
Easton has brought the most expansive line of power and performance to the market with the all-new Power Brigade Series!
TCT Thermo Composite Technology is the key to the MAKO's industry-leading swing speed, massive sweet spot, and pure feel on contact. This innovative material comprises both the barrel and handle which are united by Easton's patented 2-PC ConneXion Technology. By isolating the handle from the barrel with the connection joint, energy transfer is maximized while simultaneously eliminating any unwanted vibration. The MAKO's foundation is then optimized with a lower Swing Weight Index for one of the lightest swing weights on the market.
This Easton MAKO baseball bat features a 2 5/8" barrel diameter, -3 length to weight ratio, new HYPERSKIN Performance Grip, and it is BBCOR Certified for High School and Collegiate Play. Vibration Marty parent
Pros: Received this bat on 9/4/15 My son has only hit soft toss into a net with it this weekend and the bat seems to have great pop......but
Cons: Only hit soft toss no live pitching and the bat already has a vibration sound. The end cap is loose. With only 75 swings maybe...
pro hitter pro hitter player
Pros: i have hit about 6 homeers im pre seasons great bat
Cons: sometimes vibrates just depends kn where u hit but overall love it
2016 Easton Mako BBCOR Hunter player
Pros: Has a light weight feel to it. Has some decent pop to it.
Cons: My team has had these bats for about two weeks and 3 have broke at the connecting piece. The previous Makos had a better feel then this model.
Great Bat Derek player
Pros: Great pop off the bat!
Cons: Minor paint chips but that is expected with some use.
Love this bat dave ramos player
Pros: amazing pop, good durability so far and I've used it in some games FANTASTIC.
Cons: none really so far had it about for 500 swings.
Happy Happy Happy! Very Happy Customer parent
Pros: The pop off this bat really is the best we have ever seen. We purchased the Demarini Voodoo Raw first and was very unhappy, it was just dead feeling. Got this bat and could not be more pleased. Very first at bat in a game my son went yard and didnt even hit the ball well. The bat got that long ball!
Cons: NONE!
great pop and evenly balanced TNplayer player
Pros: Bat has amazing pop! It does take some hits in the cages before it breaks in. However, once it breaks in, its a HOT bat. Look like the prices went down so its a better buy.
Cons: None yet.
bbcor mako cc player
Pros: a great overall bat with balance and pop
Cons: none
Tennessee HS Nick player
Pros: balanced swing, great for contact! good "pop" to send it 350'+ !!! enjoyed by 3 - 7 in the batting order.
Cons: grips can weaken & need to be replaced.
GREAT! Ethan player

Cons: NONE
Not as good as you would expect Gabe. J parent
Pros: This is a very light bat, and it feels really good when you swing it.
Cons: I got my 14 year old son this bat expecting it to be a lightweight, bat with a lot of pop. Unfortunately, this bat has little pop, and my 5 foot 10 8th grader cannot hit the ball 280 feet. On the other hand, with the Voodoo overlord ft, he can hit the ball 330 feet, and the voodoo overlord has a much better sound. Get the voodoo overlord over the mako, it is a much better choice. The mako is not worth it.
unbelievable bat!! my son loves it! lots of Pop Omaha, Ne Baseball Dad parent
Pros: awesome pop! awesome sound! all-around best bat my son has ever owned. plays high school baseball
Cons: have found any yet!!
Feels and sounds great Mike player
Pros: Nice Pop
Cons: fairly new we'll see.
Regardless of price, benefit outweighs cost Jayandhisbaseballboys parent
Pros: Bought a 32 for my 14 year old in June 2016. One week later, my 17 year old son decided to use it and hit a 380 foot HR his second at bat. This was without a breakin. So, I was convinced and bought another mako bat for 17 year old son. My 14 year old loves the pop and feel and he also hits well with it.
Cons: none so far since we have seen only 3 weeks using these bats.
Good for a certain amount of time Eric player
Pros: Tons of pop when I first bought it. Had no vibration. Light swinging bat.
Cons: The bat died. I took my exit velocity in June and topped 77 with this bat but when I tested it yesterday (7/16), I only topped 66. The sound off the bat was quiet and it just wasn't the same it once was.
Best Bat Ever M9 player
Pros: By far the best Bbcor bat I have ever used. The pop to this bat is amazing ball flys off the bat. For the price it's being sold for it is definitely worth it. Very balanced bat feels lighter then a -3. Over all it's an outstanding bat.
Cons: Nothing so far great bag.
dingers!!!! david player
Pros: this bat has a lot of pop. when you hit the ball on end of the bat it doesn't sting. I'm not a very good hitter with this bat I hit three dingers in one game and could hit the ball almost 350 feet!!!!
Cons: they grip weres down after a while
great bat Austyn A player
Pros: it has good pop for a bbcor, and is has a perfect balanced.

Great Bat Riderdad parent
Pros: my son loves this bat. It's his third mako and he has really liked every one. Great pop!!
Cons: only the price! But compared to other bats you get what you pay for.
Disapointed T-Wass player
Pros: Very durable
Cons: I always hear its the best bat, and its pop does not compare to other eastons
Great Bat.....Great Pop! Rich Waterford Baseball #1 parent
Pros: Easy to swing....... Great Pop and Power
Cons: Nothing to concerning..... The label that is on the end of the bat handle depicting what size your bat is wasn't there when it was delivered.
Save your receipt for warranty claim! Trevor player
Pros: Nice balance and easy to swing Good pop Easton customer service and warranty is excellent
Cons: Doesn't hold up. I've returned two of these bats over the last year because they both cracked in the center where the two piece composite handle meets up with the barrel. When this happens the barrel goes dead and you lose your pop. I have a teammate that has had the same experience with both the 2015 and 2016 Mako BBCOR. Luckily Easton has an excellent and easy warranty process and sends a replacement bat upon return and proof of purchase of your broken bat, so save your receipt and the box to ship it back if it breaks!
Great Pop, Not Durable David Strunk parent
Pros: great balance & pop
Cons: Not durable. End cap blew off after 15 games of use along with 30 rounds of BP. Bat is dead & going back for replacement. This was the 3rd Easton on the team to lose it's end cap.
2016 Easton Mako BBCOR Scott parent
Pros: Great Pop, well balanced.
Cons: None
Good Bat Shelby player
Pros: Right out of the wrapper this bat is light and very balanced. However it takes a few hits to break in.
Cons: The grip gets worn down and after a long time can start to get a little dead

Pros: great pop
Cons: will break at the connection
Great for power hitters Tyler player

BBCOR MAKO Caleb Laninga player
Pros: Great look, nice pop, made for fast swing speeds which is a plus.
Cons: Matte finish makes for lots of marks on the bats itself
Mako Kevin Scholer player
Pros: Great bat easy to swing really light and comfy
Cons: None yet
Mako is junk Craig coach
Pros: Good pop and good feel. Son enjoyed it while it lasted.
Cons: Broke after 14 months. All Easton bats our team uses break at the connection right at a year. Moving to another brand and going back to one piece bats.
Hands Down the best bat I've ever used Alec Albain Player
Pros: Amazing bat all around, no vibration whatsoever, as long as you break this bat in evenly or correctly you should have no problems, as for I didn't. If you have had a problem with the bat you might not have taken precaution to the correct ways to break your bat in, and in which case you shouldn't be spending your money on something you're just going to ruin.
Cons: (Not from-factory issue) If you leave this out in the cold it will get ruined, I left mine in the garage over the winter and now it rattles and wobbles at the connection, if you don't take good care of this bat it will not last long, I only had mine for one year before it started having problems due to my own mistakes.
Get it while it's on sale. Carson Player
Pros: Got this bat while it was on sale. Just came today and I haven't been able to hit a ball, but the overall feel is really good. I've got the 2015 orange USSSA MAKO and I love it. I All ready knew it wasn't going to have as much "pop" because of the BBCOR standard. My only worry is that about 2" from the end cap when throwing the ball up and hitting it, it feels a little dead and it vibrates but the rest of the barrel sounds and feels solid.
Cons: Hopefully it's all composite and real. This place seems a little ify. Also it came a little banged up. It had bubble wrap around it in the box so it was probably from the wear house.
Mako drop 3 bat Jason Player
Pros: Feels light Good pop Feels good to hold Feels good coming off bat Hits dingers
Cons: Durability
Good ayden Player
Pros: all pros
Cons: none
Best Bat Cooper Player
Pros: Eveything about this bat is the best
Cons: none
Good bat Xander Alfonso Player
Pros: Ton of pop
Cons: Bad grip

My son is a 14 year old freshman (5"3', 110 lbs.) who is a top-of-the-order type of line-drive (gap) hitter. Needs a new -3 BBCOR bat. We"re on the fence between the Easton Mako BB16MK and the Demarini CF8. I noticed that the Mako starts at 31/28, but the CF8 is available in a 30/27. Not sure if the 1 oz. will make a big difference, but we figure every little bit helps with increasing his bat speed. Which is a more balanced (less end-loaded) bat for a faster swing with a smaller player? Tom

I'll be 15 in a few months, I'm about 5'10" and 150 lbs. I consider myself a very diverse hitter because I hit for power, but I also consistently drive the ball to opposite field. I'm debating over whether I should get a MAKO or MAKO XL. Thoughts on sweet spot and pop comparison? Roll
I am 13 and I weigh 100 pounds. I don't know whether to get the MAKO or the MAKO XL for school ball. I have a decent amount of power but I don't know which one to get. Jimmy Eli
I am a rising 10th grader and am trying to decide between this bat, the Mako XL, or Rawlings Trio. I am leaning towards this bat because of the past models success and the price of this year's, but I haven't heard a lot of things from this years model. Why is that? I consider myself a contact hitter with good bat speed and occasional power and hit fifth in the order. Which bat should I get? Skittles
