The Worth Prodigy is the ultimate baseball bat for any type of hitter. As a coach, it is my first choice!! All of my players, from contact to power hitters have a substantial increase in bat speed. Don't let the marketing of other bats fool you. It is all about bat speed and the Prodigy is the best.

As a coach want increased bat speed. The Prodigy is the ultimate bat for producing bat speed. Hands down the best bat I have ever purchased. Our Stealths are now nothing more than cage bats and expensive fungos

My baby boy just got a prodigy. We went in the cages and you could tell it had mad pop. When he got on the field he dropped a 400ft bomb on his second at bat. He got his name in the paper baby! The D955 Alloy is awesome. This bat is like having a balanced EXO Grid.

I've owned the 2008 lithium model and currently own the 2009 (blue/white) model. As other reviewers have mentioned, this bat has serious bat speed, perfect balance and pop. I've never felt a ball pop off the sweet spot as this bat. You can really feel the 'trampoline effect.' And the inertia plug at the end of the barrel isn't a gimmic, it helps w balance and contributes to bat speed. Great bat.
Cons:
I broke the 2008 model, 'rattles inside,' and got a new 2009 model as replacement. After about 25 games, the replacement bat has a slight dent on the barrel. But for some reason, still has a lot of pop. I question the long term durability of this bat. But still, I like it so much I would buy another. Also, $200 is too good to pass by. I doubt I'll ever pay $300-400 for a bat I've never hit with.
