A soft feeling, durable and high performance bat the B1AB utilizes ComBat’s MAP technology. Extremely tight machining tolerances (+/- .0005”) precisely control both the outer and inner wall bat barrel diameters, this allows ComBat’s engineers to design bat wall thicknesses to maximize barrel trampoline and bat performance. Ya just gotta get one of these. I just bought one,a 32-29, for my 13 year old. Hes been hitting a Demarini CF3 Black which is end loaded unlike the B1 which is very well balanced.This is what i noticed, the cf3 is a little slower from the load position to contact compared to the B1 and also tends to pull the batters hands away from his body due to the end loading.The B1 is faster to the ball.

Great bat! My son’s used Combat’s for 7 years now. He just switched back to the (-3) B1 when his Virus developed a problem, and likes this old style B-1 a lot better.
Cons:
As with any composite bat, use a cheap aluminum bat in the batting cages for practice.

Son loved this bat in the youth level.He is 13 yrs old now.Just got the -3 today,went hitting,WOW! He was swinging the -3 Demarini CF3 and he really liked it but after hitting the -3 B1 he can't wait till his next game.The B1 -3 walls are thicker than his -10 youth bat but he was hitting awesome with it right out of the wrapper. We both know it will get better as it breaks in.THANK YOU COMBAT!!!!!
