Pros: I love this bat, it's very balanced. The balls go off the bat like I'm hitting air and those balls are going to the fence 80% of the time.
Cons: None.

Rawlings mach kaden stephan player
Pros: The bat has very good pop but you haft to have a lot of power in your swing.
Cons: The bats paint comes off easily and my bat did and it cracked the next swing i took.
Great Pop but Poor Durability Bert C. parent
Pros: I bought this bat for my 12yr old son who plays travel baseball. He is a contact hitter but not necessarily a power hitter. Before we got this bat, he'd never hit a HR over the fence. Since we got this bat, he's hit well over 20 HR's at practice. All the kids on his team want to hit with this bat because they too notice how much pop the bat has. The bat has tremendous pop but after only having this bat for a little over a week, it cracked one day while taking batting practice. Rawlings did replace the bat with the new Rawlings Mach 2 which just came in today (6/3). We've not yet hit with it but I hope that it has the same amount of pop but is more durable than its predecessor.
Cons: Cracked in less than a week.

Pros: Great pop
Cons: I had this bat for only 3 weeks before it cracked. Rawlings did not replace it because you have to have the reseat. Which we did not have. Now Im out 300$ and dont have a bat for the rest of the season. Im never buying a rawlings bat again. DONT BUY THIS BAT
No hit wonder Steven coach
Pros: Great pop.
Cons: Had two kids on my nine year old team last year get these bats. One lasted one tournament the other lasted 3 tournaments. Took forever to get them replaced. The only good news is replacement is new year model. Hopefully they are more durable.

Cons: 3 homers later the paint chipped and it was the 2nd tourney my team used. it has great pop just fragile composite which is the down side of the bat

My son uses the Easton XL1 Youth in his rec league and he needs to get a big barrel for All Stars this summer. He swings the 31" 21 oz. and handles it very well. What would you recommend for his big barrel that would give him a similar swing balance, pop and sweet spot? Chuck
My son is 11 and has been swinging a Rawlings 5150 30/20 in travel ball. In your opinion, is this new Rawlings a good step up for him in the same size? How does this bat compare to the VELO and Marucci Elite? Svbball5
My son is a small 10 year old. He swings a 27" 17 oz. Easton S3 and has been for two years. I do not see him ever being a power hitter. I am looking for a 28" 18 oz. Which would be the best bat for a contact hitter, the Mach, 5150 or Easton S1? Stubby
I am looking for a great bat that I can use all year and hit great with. I am either getting a Rawlings MACH or the Marucci Black 2. Which should I get? tank
I've been using a Easton Omen. But, I need a new bat. I'm 5"4 115lbs. Do u recommend any bats? Is the machine a good switch? baller
My son is looking for a new bat for this upcoming season. He is eleven years old, and is power hitter. The past two years he has used a 30" 20 oz. Worth Lithium one piece alloy. He hit extremely well with this bat. However many of his longer hits that went to the warning track could have been home runs with a better bat! We are looking at the Easton S1 or the Mach. Thoughts? jcab44
We have used the DeMarini CF5 the last 2 seasons and have swung it well. Now looking at the Easton MAKO or the Rawlings Mach -10. Which one is more comparable to the CF5? Schlebe
Did the 'Mach' take place of the 'Machine'? I have never bought a Rawlings bat, and am a little reluctant to do so. Is this a legitimate concern and should I expect the same results from this bat as we've gotten from COMBAT, Demarini and/or Easton? Riddleror
What other drop weights are there? That Kid 25
What is the barrel length? thekid

About the Brand
Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
