Pros: This bat hit very well for the time that I had it, it has decent pop and good swing.

Cons: Within one month of batting practice involving 70mph pitching machine, this bat had several dents in the lower end of the barrel, and was actually bent so that it was not straight. I would not recommend.

The 2014 Easton S400 BBCOR: BB14S400 Adult is a very good quality bat. It has a 7046 Aircraft Alloy for Fast Swing Speed and a balanced feel. The lifespan of a bat has many variables ranging from number of players using the bat to games played a season. With that being said the S400 should last at least a year.

The 2014 Easton S400 BBCOR (BB14S400) is not part of the Speed or Brigade Series. It replaced the Easton Typhoon. It is uses a lower grade of alloy than the Speed Series, but it is a great bat for the price.
