Description

There are 3 constants when it comes to slow pitch players and their bats. They want a bat that's hot out of the wrapper, they're always looking for the next best thing, and they prefer either a balanced or end-loaded design. Raw Power is Easton's answer. The Raw Power line features the B-Series that offers evenly balanced designs for controlled power, and the L-Series that offers end-loaded designs for absolute maximum power. Part of the B-Series, the B3.0 has a longer 13.5 inch evenly balanced barrel for a controlled, yet powerful swing. The B3.0 features Easton's patented two-piece ConneXion technology that holds together this fully composite design. The barrel is constructed from Easton's trademark IMX Composite for an optimal sweet spot and maximum performance, while SIC Black Carbon is added to the handle to create the BEST feeling composite bat you'll EVER swing. This handle is wrapped with an ultra-thin gauze grip that is perfect for players that like tack without the bulkiness of many modern grips. The time is now to bring Raw Power to YOUR game. Easton: Engineered for Glory! The B3.0 features the new ASA stamp and is approved for play in ASA and ISF. It is backed by a Full Six (6) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Looks real nice and hits real good. I like that you don't feel the vibration in the handle with this bat and the bat seems to have a large sweet spot.

Cons: None so far but only used it for one practice and so far so good

Pros: To my suprise, I ordered the wrong bat and thought that the L 4.0 was coming in but this bat hasn't disappointed yet. It was my second choice. It has been hot about a week and only has roughly 150 cuts on it. It has power but seems to be more designed for base hits and doubles. I'm 40 years old and taking the ball 300 feet. Strongly recommended.

Cons: None yet. I've only had it for about a week.

Pros: Nicely balanced, ball contact feels great even on mis-hits

Cons: 3 or 4 of us on the team tried out the bat and we all agree, not that hot out of the wrapper. Definitely has potential and should get better as it is broken in

Pros: This bat is beautiful. Thats about all Im getting out of it. Hopefully after another 100swings this "pop" everyone is talking about will start showing.

Cons: I am a small girl but a left handed power hitter. I haven't been able to get past first base since using this bat. I feel like there is not umpf behind it. Much happier using my Salvo SRV5

Pros: THIS BAT IS NASTY TOOK IT OUT OF THE WRAPPER AND WAS DROPPING BOMBS OVER A 330 ft. FENCE WITH NO PROBLEM. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT IT CAN DO ONCE BROKEN-IN AND FOR THE PEOPLE ON THIS PAGE SAYING IT HAS NO POP YOUR A RETARD AND SHOULD LEARN HOW TO HIT THIS BAT ALMOST OUT HITS MY OG SCX3 AND SCN3.

Cons: THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS THE 6 MONTH WARRANTY. IF YOU PAY $300 YOU SHOULD GET A 1 YEAR WARRANTY.

Pros: This bat is awesome!! If you can't get a good hit out of it you stink, bottom line. I'm not the best I'm average, but this bat has me hitting with the best. It's worth $300!!

Cons: Six month warranty only. But saying that, I bet it's that durable!!

Pros: Hits pretty solid and seems to be a great bat. The only issue I have is the bat has a sticker at the end of bat saying, if removed the warranty is voided. I have had the bat just over a month and the sticker fell off and I can't find it. I guess if my bat breaks within the 6 month warranty I eat it.

This bat is sick HOTT out the wrapper!!!! Big T player

Pros: I bought this bat thinking i was gonna get a singles or doubles base hit or placement bat because thats actually what i was looking for but when i got it in the mail that same day i took the wrapper off and used it in a game that same night and man was i NOT disappointed. Its funny because i kept hearing people say that this bat was gonna be flat with no pop whatsoever well were they wrong i went 4/4 w/ 2 doubles and 2 homeruns opposite field. This bat is sick and very HOTT out the wrapper. At least mine is...

Grace Connection SB Team SWFL Stewy, 2B/LC player

Pros: 8 of 11 team members used a single 32/26 fresh out of the wrapper. Wow! Average gain was 50.1 feet with just a mid swing. Power is hidden in the B3.0 somewhere. Excellent balance and feel. No bulk to the entire stick. Just pure smooth power.

Cons: Competition wants to use it.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the Easton B3.0 Slow Pitch Softball Bat: SP13B3? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

I'm looking for a bat to replace my Easton SP12SY98. I like the balance of that bat. I'm a singles and a gap hitter. I'm 6'2" and 215 lbs. I like a 26 oz bat. Keep in mind it has to be ASA approved. coach
Yes, the 2014 Easton B3. would be a great bat to replace your 2013 Easton Synergy. Both bats are for contact hitters and are very balanced.
Chad M.
I have heard complaints about the end cap popping off. Is this a common issue? kbates
We have not had any issues with the 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch bat. It does have a 6 month manufacturer's warranty if the bat has a problem.
Frank
I'm confused. I've come to believe that balanced bats range from 26-30 oz while end-loaded range from 26-28oz. Is there a reason why the B3.0 doesn't come in 30 oz? Mike
Actual bat weight has nothing to do with being balanced or endloaded. It all has to do with the weight distribution within the barrel of the bat. As far as why the 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 isn't produced in a 30 oz. model, I recommend contacting Easton at 1-800-345-8140.
Tyler
Are the B3 true to weight, or do they come a little heavier than sticker weight? SHREK-o-SAURES
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch bat will be true to weight.
Brandon
Is this bat designed for the .44 375 or the .52 300? shoebox
All of the newer slow pitch bats, like the 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch bat, will be designed for the softer balls.
Brandon
Why did Easton go to a 6 month warranty? Is there an obvious longevity problem? Matty
Currently, there have been no chronic issues with the 2014 line of Easton slow pitch bats, including the 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch bat. The exact reason for shortening the warranty period, would determined by Easton.
Mac
I am wondering if this bat would be good for an all around hitter. Does it have the power to go yard? RR22
Yes, the 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch bat will be a two-piece fully composite design and part of the Raw Power Series. It will have a 13.5" barrel length and provide great pop.
Brandon
What is the better bat between the B3 and Salvo for a long distance ball? Bike
The Easton Salvo and 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch will be very close in performance. The Easton B3 will be slightly higher in performance though.
Noah
I'm looking for the best ASA bat for long distance and power. What do you recommend for me? Bike
You should get the 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch or the 2014 Worth Legit Jeff Hall Reload ASA: SBLAJH Slow Pitch for distance and power in ASA softball.
Noah
Will this bat hit ASA 44 375 ball well or will it break? jay
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch should not be used with 44/375 cor balls.
Kara
Is IMX Composite considered a single wall bat? Cody
Any composite bat is going to be classified as a multi-wall bat, because the composite fibers are put together layer by layer.
Noah
What is best Easton bat for .44 core 375 compression balls? Maggie
Older bats with the older ASA stamp are best of .44 core 375 compression balls such as the Easton Salvo or Easton Synergy.
Damon
Why should this bat not be used with 44/375 balls? batman14
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch is tested with the new softer 50/300 balls. The harder 44/375 balls could damage the material in the new ASA certified bats.
Kara
Is this bat end loaded? brian
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch is a balanced bat.
Kara
Is this bat better the Easton S2 SP13S2? Help and be honest. brian
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch will be slightly higher performing than the 2013 Easton S2: SP13S2 Slow Pitch, as the barrel uses a higher grade SIC Black Carbon Composite. Additionally, the B3.0 features a two-piece fully composite design, while the S2 is a one-piece composite.
Katie
I am looking at this bat and the Miken Ultra ASA. How do they compare in terms of sweet spot, power/pop etc? cutlet
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch and the 2013 Miken Ultra ASA: SOULTA Slow Pitch have a similar sweet spot and pop. The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 is two-piece composite bat that will have more flex. It is better for a contact hitter.
Kara
Can I use in colder weather? Dubie
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch should not be used in temperatures below 55 degrees.
Kara
Our league switched to the .52 300 balls is this bat recommended? brandon
Yes, the .52 CORE 300 Compression balls are used for the 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch.
Noah
In your opinion, what is THE HOTTEST ASA bat for a 375/.44 cor ball? mamaluke
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch bat would be a great choice and has many really great reviews!
Brandon
Which will be hotter vs. a 275/44 ball? The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 or the Miken Superfreak HPS? Mamaluke16
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch bat would be able to hit these balls well, but would work even better against the softer more mushy softballs that some leagues are now going to. The harder the ball is may damage the newer bats that are being released. With the Miken Superfreak HPS being an older model, that bat would be more suited for your 275/44 ball.
Brandon
I am looking for a 27 oz. balanced. Most places have 26 oz. & 28 oz. I have a 28 oz. loaded Salvo, it's a bit heavier than I like. Does the B3.0 28 oz. swing feel comparable to a loaded 28 oz. or lighter? Rob
The 2014 Easton B3.0: SP13B3 Slow Pitch bat will feel slightly lighter than an Easton Salvo at the same weight.
Brandon
Why was this bat discontinued? I am looking for a balanced ASA approved bat (34/28). Do you have any other recommendations? C-Rad
The 2014 Easton B3.0 (SP13B3 Slow Pitch) was discontinued due to Easton just releasing their new product line. There was nothing wrong with the design, it is just last year's model. A very good ASA balanced model in a 28 oz. will be the 2014 Louisville Slugger Z-3000 Balanced ASA (SBZ314-AB Slow Pitch).
