Known for their hot out of the wrapper bats, COMBAT has brought Separation Barrier to the Wanted. This technology creates free movement between barrel walls, resulting in ZERO break-in period. The Wanted also gets a durability boost from Nanocomp Technology Inside the barrel that fills in the microscopic gaps in the Blended Fiber. The Youth Wanted also features a double sweet spot, single wall contstuction, and a super light swing weight. Maybe the laws of physics WERE meant to be broken.... COMBAT: For Players, By Players! Great Bat coach coach

Pros: Just added the -8 Wanted to our AAA tournament team's bat rack, and the results have been very good so far. Great pop and exit speed, minimal break in required, and the 2-piece design makes it a little more forgiving. We've got a couple of boys who are now going with this bat or the Portent 1-piece, over their new $350 Easton's.

Cons: None so far.

Great bat! parent parent

Pros: Great bat! This bat is well balanced with lots of pop. My thirteen year old is a line drive hitter. He has added about 40 feet to each hit. We often play in cold weather and the bat has held up great with no complaints about stings. He prefers it over his Easton S1 he used last year.

Cons: none so far

Really great bat Neil player

Pros: -no vibration, even on mis-hits -nice grip, very sticky -great sound -large sweet spot

Cons: looks kinda ugly i haven't had it for too long, can't comment on durability, used pretty misshapen balls so i dont really know how the pop is like with real balls.

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the COMBAT Wanted Senior League Baseball Bat: WANSL108? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

What would be better for a power hitter this in a -10 or the -10 Easton MAKO? jj
The 2014 COMBAT Wanted: WANSL110 Senior League and the 2014 Easton MAKO: SL14MKB Senior League are both two-piece fully composite bats with extended barrels and will perform similarly for power hitters.
Jason
How long does it take to break it in? Lil g
We recommend around 150-200 swings off of a tee or soft toss to break in the 2014 COMBAT Wanted (WANSL108)
Bobby
How would this bat compare to an XL1 or CF5? Will this bat have similar sweet spots and power? NXu
The 2014 COMBAT Wanted Senior League Baseball Bat (WANSL108) is very similar to the DeMarini CF5. They both have a two-piece composite design with a balanced swing weight. The Wanted and the CF5 both have comparable sweet spots as well and are great for contact hitters. The Easton XL1 has an end loaded swing weight and has the biggest sweet spot out of any bat because of the extended barrel. The XL1 is better for power hitters because of the end loaded swing weight.
Jason
Would this bat feel similar to the Easton S3? h43h
The only way the 2014 COMBAT Wanted Senior League Baseball Bat (WANSL108) would feel similar to the 2014 Easton S3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL14S310) would be in terms of overall balance of the design. Other than that they are almost exact opposites. The Wanted is a two-piece composite design with a -8 length to weight ratio. The S3 is a one-piece alloy design with a -10 length to weight ratio.
Patrick
Would a 31 inch 23 ounce Wanted feel like a 30 inch 21 ounce XL3? rye
That size in a 2014 COMBAT Wanted Senior League Baseball Bat (WANSL108) would still feel slightly heavier overall. The end-loaded weight of the 2014 Easton XL3 Senior League Baseball Bat (SL14X39) will give it a similar feel and swing weight but the Wanted would still be heavier overall.
Patrick
It says this bat has the quick break-in because of a Separation Barrier. How does this shorten the break-in period? B
The Separation Barrier in the 2014 COMBAT Wanted Senior League Baseball Bat (WANSL108) allows free movement between barrel walls so that brand new bats can exhibit maximum trampoline effect right away (hot out of the wrapper).
