Softballs Take Flight With The 2014 DeMarini Stadium CL22

What Long Haul Bomber Champion and Team DeMarini member Chris Larsen wants, he gets. DeMarini went back to the basics and worked with Chris to build the bat that he wanted to swing on this year’s Stadium Tour. After thousands of swings in the cage, Chris finally agreed on the model that became the 2014 DeMarini Stadium CL22.

If you’re looking for a two-piece bat with crazy pop, the Stadium is the bat for you! It features DeMarini’s 4.ONE composite material in the barrel and an SC4 aluminum handle. Even though it’s a two-piece bat, the Stadium was designed for maximum stiffness and handles like a one-piece to give you incredible bat head control.

The Stadium has a 12” barrel with an extreme end load to enhance your swing speed. It is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA and ISF leagues.

Legit Performance

2014worthlegitThe 2014 Worth Legit Slow Pitch lineup is back and better than ever! Worth has combined its new Legit Power Core Molding Process with it’s classic 454 Technology to create the hottest Legit yet. Lets take a closer look at the technologies featured in the 2014 Worth Legit Slow Pitch bats.

Legit Power Core Molding Process

The Power Molding Process gives players the purest composite layers on the market. Worth has removed the wasted material sometimes found in composite bats to create a leaner, higher performing barrel.

HMF TECH (High Modulus Fiber Technology)

Worth’s HMF TECH is featured on the outer layer of the composite. This technology gives the carbon fibers a smaller diameter allowing for more fibers and less space in between them, which results in a higher performing and more durable bat.

Flex Fifty Technology

Flex Fifty Technology is designed to create “whip” action when you start your swing which helps to generate bat speed resulting in more power. It also allows for more flex at contact giving you a smooth comfortable feel at contact.

454 Technology

Worth’s famed 454 Technology extends the sweetspot 2” in both directions to give you one of the largest and most reactive sweet spots in the game.

The 2014 Worth Legit Slow Pitch line is available in USSSA, ASA, and Senior Softball models. Here is the 2014 lineup….

ASA Approved And American Made: 2013 Worth 454 Mutant

Worth has changed the DNA of the 454 Mutant once again. New HMF Technology, ASA Stamp and Flex Fifty Technology combined with its patented 454 Technology have resulted in the highest performing and most durable mutant known to man: the 2013 Worth 454 Mutant!

The 2013 Worth 454 Mutant is made in America and features the new ASA stamp. It’s not approved for play in any other associations. With ASA’s new standards, the bats have more pop than ever before, making this the HOTTEST model of the 454 Mutant to ever hit the market! Now lets take a look at the technology of the new 454 Mutant.

Worth’s patented 454 technology extends the sweet spot of the bat 2” in each direction, making it one of the largest sweet spots in the slow pitch game. The 454 Mutant also features new HMF (High Modulus Fiber) Technology. The HMF technology gives the new carbon fiber a smaller diameter which allows there to be more individual fibers to be woven together. Simply put, this results not only in an increase in performance, but also an increase in durability.

If that isn’t enough technology for you, don’t worry, there’s more. The Flex Fifty Technology creates 50% more flex in the 454 Mutant than seen in previous models. Additional flex helps to create a “whip” action which helps increase your bat speed to give you not only more power, but a more comfortable feel at contact. This is combined with its balanced design which is ideal for players seeking maximum bat control.

The 2013 Worth 454 Mutant is also available in a USSSA model. Check out the customer reviews on both the ASA and USSSA models and check out other comparable bats here!

Performance Fastpitch Technology from Louisville Slugger

Generating power and feel are important aspects to consider when creating an incredible fastpitch bat. Louisville Slugger has done this, and more, with the creation of the oneX and the latest edition of the Xeno.

The oneX is a new addition to Louisville Slugger’s 2013 fastpitch lineup and the early reviews are hot! The oneX is a two-piece design and uses S1iD composite technology which allows for a flexible, more forgiving barrel with an incredibly large sweet spot and balanced feel. The oneX also features the new T2 Technology. This straighter, thicker rubber ring strengthens the link between the barrel and handle and produces a trampoline-like spring and dramatically reduces vibration. Check out what Ruff Ryder had to say about the oneX:

The Xeno is back for another year of plate domination. The S1iD technology allows the barrel to flex to its maximum performance level without any break-in period. Its two-piece design uses thinner, high-strength LS-2X composite fibers which reduce the wall thickness, creating better performance while maintaining durability. The Xeno has cool new graphics, a balanced swing weight and will change your game, but don’t take our word for it:

Check out the oneX and Xeno or any of Louisville Slugger’s fastpitch bats on JustBats.com. Send us your pictures or video for a chance to win a $25 or $300 JustBats.com gift card!

2013 DeMarini Slow Pitch Bats

What are some qualities that you look for in a slow pitch softball bat? Pop? Durability? A game-ready feel? The confidence that you have the right weapon in your hands when you step into the box can make all the difference between track power and circling the bases. Gain that confidence with one of these new bats from DeMarini’s 2013 slow pitch lineup.

2013 DeMarini Flipper

The Flipper is new from DeMarini for 2013 and only approved for ASA play. It’s a two-piece hybrid design with Divergence barrel technology, which is two layers of composite with an air gap sandwiched in between. This creates an incredibly responsive sweet spot specifically designed to crush the new ASA .52/300 balls. The Flipper’s SC4 alloy handle provides an incredibly stiff feel, almost like you’re swinging a one-piece bat. The Flipper is catching the attention of power and contact hitters alike, but don’t just take our word for it. Check out this review from Patrick:

2013 DeMarini The ONE FU-Dawg

The ONE, or Sunday Swagger, has been one of DeMarini’s hottest slow pitch bats in recent years, and the FU-Dawg is no different. This two-piece hybrid design features a SC4 alloy handle, for an extra stiff feel, and a 4.ONE composite, end loaded barrel. The ONE is hot right out of the wrapper and ready to add some swagger to your game! ASA and ISF approved.

2013 DeMarini J3 ASA & USSSA

The J3 is the third edition of DeMarini’s popular Juggernaut line, and available in both a USSSA and ASA approved model. The J3 has a two-piece design that uses DeMarini’s patented TR3 F.L.O. composite material. The naturally chaotic and random fusing of the TR3’s composite fibers creates a more compact material that is stronger and lighter than ever before. Check out these customer reviews and see how the J3 is changing their game!

Jessica Mendoza On Being Beautifully Powerful

Sometimes to be successful on the field you have to stand out from the crowd and do things a little different. You can’t be afraid to try new things and you can’t be afraid to be who you are. History has a pretty good track record of successful people who have done things a little different and gone out of their comfort zone. Baseball and softball are no exception and that’s the message Louisville Slugger is trying to send with their “Beautifully Powerful” campaign. In the video above Jessica Mendoza says, “The best way to be successful in any sport and, honestly, even off the field is to be beautifully powerful and true to yourself and not try to be like everybody else.” and it makes a lot of sense. The only way to get better at some things is to try a new way of doing it. Louisville Slugger has several resources they have given us to be inspired to be more “Beautifully Powerful.” You can find it on a Facebook page, @sluggerFP on Twitter, and on a Pinterest page for Fastpitch players where you can find tons of awesome graphics to pin and share with your friends. Be sure to check out the Fastpitch page on www.slugger.com for more info and to support this awesome campaign! Also be sure to check out the Louisville Slugger Fast Pitch bats from JustBats.com!

Top Ten Game Day Essentials

Have you ever arrived at the ball field for that big game and realized you left something really important at home? We all know how frustrating that can be, so we here at JustBats.com came up with a list of the Top Ten Game Day Essentials in hopes to help you all remember some of the more important items. Each day for ten days we will post a new Game Day Essential, so at the end you have a nice list to look at and read over. We are going to start with the glove, you absolutely can’t leave home without your glove.

Forgetting your own glove can be super frustrating, especially if you end up having to use someone else’s because chances are it just won’t feel right. You have broken in that glove, loved and cared for it from day one, so this is an important one to remember. Maybe that glove you have loved and cared for for so long is starting to get worn out and you need a new one. Just head to JustBallGloves.com and check out some of our most popular gloves, we are sure you will find what you are looking for.

What’s a baseball or softball game without a bat? It probably would be a lot less exciting, so this one is also extremely important. Again, there’s nothing better than crushing that ball with your own bat so it would be awfully sad to leave it at home. JustBats.com has a huge selection of bats to choose from, so if you need your first one or if the one you have just isn’t cutting it anymore, stop by JustBats.com and pick from some of the hottest bats on the market. Be sure to choose a bat that best fits the league you are in.

We would hate to see everyone running around the fields in your sandals and it probably wouldn’t feel very good either, and who knows, if no one on your team has a pair of cleats to spare, you might be out of luck, so be sure to keep these in your bag. Cleats are extremely important for game-day and can make running around those bases a lot easier. Always a good thing to have around.

Not every player uses batting gloves, but if you do, and you leave them at home your swing just won’t be the same. Batting gloves can help with grip and can also reduce vibration transferring to your hands for a more comfortable swing. So if you don’t use them, it might not hurt to try them out. Batting gloves can be essential to your performance so always keep a pair on hand. You can pick up a pair up from JustBats.com right now!

Warming up with a bat weight can give you a huge advantage over other players. We wouldn’t recommend swinging with one at full speed, but simply warming up with one, even rotating your arms with a weighted bat in your hands can help get your muscles in a better place before you stand up to the plate. JustBats.com has a big selection of bats to help with training, head over there and check them out!

On any given day the weather can go from cool to hot and rainy to sunny in a matter of minutes. So it’s not a bad idea to pack a jacket just in case. This one goes out to the families and friends supporting the players on the field as well, if it’s cool outside an athlete usually can warm up pretty easily but sitting in the stands and not moving can make for a very long and cold tournament day, so bring some layers that can easily be removed.

We all know that mid-day sun can be brutal, especially when it is starting to set on the horizon and it can be right in your eyes. A pop fly can be really hard to see when you have the sun right behind it blinding you, and looking at the sun can be really bad for your eyes, so bring some sunglasses to protect them. A pair of sunglasses with polarized lenses is the best thing if you really want to insure your eyes will be protected.

If you really want to be on top of your game it’s important to fuel your body with the right kind of nutrients. Some good snacks for athletes include almonds, fruits, like bananas and apples, trail mix, yogurt, oats, energy bars and granola bars and a peanut butter sandwich is always good.

Hydration is extremely important when you’re outdoors for long periods of time, especially with this summer we just had with record breaking temperatures all across the U.S. It’s easy to become dehydrated when it’s so hot outside and you may not even realize it before it’s too late. Some signs of dehydration include a dry mouth, feeling very tired for no reason, becoming extremely thirsty, dry skin, severe headache and dizziness. If you start to feel these during game day it’s time to down a Gatorade and drink some water.

Now some of you may be trying to work on that perfect tan while your out on the ball field, but it’s important to get some sunscreen on, especially with some tournaments lasting most of the day, it’s easy to get a pretty nasty burn. So don’t be afraid, slap some SPF 35 on and go home from your game knowing you won’t look like a tomato.

Demarini CF5 Vs. Opponent

The video pretty much speaks for itself on this bat, the Demarini CF5 dominates the softball field and the new 2013 CF5 will be no exception to that. This awesome bat features a two-piece composite design that’s balanced for increased swing speed. The new CF5 is also sporting some new technology such as TR3 F.L.O. Composite which has made this bat the lightest swinging Demarini bat ever! This bat also comes with a Geo End Cap that helps keep the barrel stiff and it also keeps energy from escaping through the end of the bat giving each hit a little extra burst of energy. Be sure to check out the video and stop by JustBats.com to pick up either the Demarini CF5 -9 or the -8 bat!
